Word Projects

You will be working on two projects in Word for the next couple of days. These projects will cover the things you know about Word. Each document needs to be saved in the class folder using the file name I give.

Document 1: Newsletter
Create a newsletter. Your newsletter should be about your family. You should have articles discussing your family, your home country, your reason for being in Singapore, and a story of something funny that has happened to you. You could also include other articles or sections. (For example, a puzzle or riddle; a quiz on Singapore culture; etc.) This document needs to include each of the following:

A full page width heading
Three columns of articles
At least three images or clip-art
At least four separate stories/articles
Evidence that you have run spell checker!
Footnotes - give some words in your home language, or some Singlish slang that you need to define for your readers, put this definition in footnotes at the bottom of the page. You could also have a footnote with the answer to a puzzle, riddle, or (if you include one)

Document 2: List
Create an informational sheet about an upcoming trip. Pretend that you are the organizer of this trip. The document you create is to inform them of the things they will need for the trip, as well as when they need to meet, and where they need to report. This document should be a full-size sheet giving a list of items needed for a trip. Include:

A Title
Basic description of the trip
A bulleted list of the items each traveler will need
Information about when and where each traveler needs to report.
